Attorney General Has Student Walk Out In Protest

( Daily Caller social media director Emma Heussner, who graduated from Harvard University over Memorial Day weekend, walked out of Attorney General Merrick Garland’s commencement address, explaining that she didn’t want to listen to Garland prattle on about himself for half an hour.

According to the Washington Post, Garland mentioned the January 6 riot at the Capitol and Trump’s so-called “Big Lie” during his commencement address. He also urged the graduates to devote at least part of their lives to public service, citing the recent mass murders as a reason for them to do it.

Heussner said as she walked out, she heard Garland speaking about how awful the country is and what the Harvard grads should do to fix it.

After posting her video on Twitter, which has been viewed over 900K times, Heussner said she was surprised by how many people congratulated her for walking out on Garland’s speech. At the same time, Heussner pointed out that Leftists have been losing their minds over her walk-out.

Heussner later explained that Garland’s commencement address came more than two hours after the ceremony began. She was anxious to get out of there and find her parents, and skipping Garland’s politicized speech seemed as good a time as any to leave.
