Betty White Reveals Secret To Her Long And Happy Life

(PatriotWise.com)- Just before passing away at age 99, on December 31, 2021, legendary actress Betty White shared her secrets to living a long life.

In a statement that was shared with Fox News via her publicist, the world-famous TV personality shared her optimism about life. It came as the world prepared to celebrate her 100th birthday.

“I’ve always been a cockeyed optimist,” she told Fox. “I got it from my mom. I’m gonna stick with it.”

It was among the final statements issued before White’s death, which came as a surprise to virtually everybody. Newspapers and magazines already printed front-page stories about White celebrating her 100th birthday, only for her to tragically pass away just two weeks before it came.

White is known for many major TV roles, but perhaps most for her part as Rose Nylund in the classic sitcom The Golden Girls.

White’s TV and film career spanned more than 75 years, and is known by many as the “First Lady of Television.”

White is also famous for her roles in “Hot in Cleveland” between 2010 and 2014, and The Mary Tyler Moore Show between 1970 and 1977.

The Golden Girls ran between 1985 and 1992.

Betty White received so much love from people from all aspects of American life and even got a shout-out from the United States Army on Twitter.

“Not only was she an amazing actress she also served during WWII as a member of the American Women’s Voluntary Services,” the tweet read.
