Biden Calls Liz Cheney After Her Damning Defeat

(PatriotWise.com)- Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), who had lost her quest for reelection earlier this week, received a call from President Joe Biden.

According to reports, the call was made one day after Harriet Hageman, a supporter of Donald Trump, was declared the winner. Uncertainty surrounds the talk, which occurred hours after Cheney floated the idea of running for president in 2024.

Cheney told NBC’s Today program that she would do whatever it takes to keep Donald Trump out of the Oval Office. She would decide in the upcoming months if she would run for president.

Of The United States?

In her concession address, Cheney also referred to the fact that Abraham Lincoln lost elections before winning the presidency.

She may want to refer to the classics.
“Self-conceit may lead to self-destruction.” – Aesop.

Liz claimed that before winning the most crucial election, the Republican party’s great and original advocate, Abraham Lincoln, was beaten in elections for the Senate and the House. In the end, Lincoln triumphed. He preserved our union and established for all time our responsibility as Americans.

Liz stopped short of telling everyone that she, like Abraham Lincoln, freed slaves.

According to reports, one of former President Donald Trump’s most prominent targets in the 2022 midterm election cycle was Cheney, one of the two Republicans serving on the House Select Committee looking into the Capitol riot. Cheney was also one of the ten people who voted to impeach Donald Trump after January 6. The Wyoming (Alleged) Republican spent a significant portion of her campaign asking Democrats and Independents in the state to re-register to vote for her in the GOP primary.

Liz Cheney was beaten like a cheap rug by Harriet Hageman, a former ally and informal adviser to Cheney. Cheney is the fourth Republican House member to lose her attempt for reelection after supporting Trump’s impeachment. Only Reps. David Valadao (R-CA) and Dan Newhouse (R-WA) prevailed in their initial battles. The other four decided against running again.

Valadao and Newhouse have won their battles but have yet to win their wars.
