Biden Campaign PRAISES Twitter For Censoring Legitimate Story About Hunter Biden Corruption

( The Biden campaign praised Twitter and Facebook for censoring a story published by the New York Post about corruption allegations made about Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden. Jamal Brown, the national press secretary for the Biden camp, praised Twitter for the censorship and said that their decision to stop people sharing the link means that the story must not be accurate.

During a video interview with Cheddar, a host asked Brown about the recent censorship that has resulted in Senator Ted Cruz announcing that he will subpoena Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey over election interference.

“I also wanna ask you, Twitter has been under a little bit of fire for blocking Tweets connected to the recent New York Post article about Hunter Biden’s connections in Ukraine and Joe Biden’s alleged involvement when he was vice president,” the host said. “What is your campaign’s response to this article and do you think Twitter is doing the right thing here?”

Brown then falsely claimed that the decision by the social media platforms means the story is not true.

“Twitter’s response to the actual article itself makes clear that these purported allegations are false and not true,” Brown said. “I’m glad to see social media companies like Twitter taking responsibility to limit misinformation.”

The claim was false for multiple reasons, including the fact that Twitter banned the content on the grounds that, they say, the story contained information that was obtained by hacking. It was an inaccurate statement, however, as the New York Post explained that the information was obtained from a laptop that was left in a computer repair shop in Delaware. The person who dropped off the laptop did not return for it, which meant the device became legally classified as abandoned property.

Emails used in the New York Post between Hunter Biden and his business associates were reportedly legally obtained from that laptop.

What’s more, Facebook blocked the distribution of the article – something that they did not do with fake stories about the president, including the Russia hoax – and said that it was only temporary while it underwent fact checking.

Biden’s national press secretary, therefore, was either being purposely misleading or does not know the facts relating to this story.
