(PatriotWise.com)- Monday Joe Biden paid a visit to a New Jersey elementary school and, quite by accident, uttered an honest statement.
At the conclusion of his visit with a group of students, the President pointed to the press pool covering the event and jokingly told the children that those are the people who follow the president around all the time, and their job is to ask questions and the president’s job is to figure out how to avoid answering them.

While Joe said it as a joke, the fact is, it was probably the most honest remark Joe Biden has ever made in public.
Both during the 2020 campaign and in his time in office, Joe Biden’s relationship with the press amounts to them trying to get their questions answered while he hurries away from them.
Even his very supportive press corps is growing frustrated over the President’s lack of press availability. Often, standing between Joe Biden and the press is a heavy wall of staffers whose job it is to corral the reporters and chase them from the room. And when Biden does deign to answer questions from the press, he limits questions to reporters whose names his staffers have put on a list for him to call on.
On those rare occasions when Biden disobediently opens the floor for questions, the White House quickly cuts off his mike or shuts down the live feed in order to avoid any potential embarrassment.

But, the majority of time, when Joe Biden appears before the press to deliver remarks, he quickly leaves the room without taking a single question.

And here:
A reporter asks President Biden why the U.S. didn't evacuate Americans and allies before the troop withdrawal as the Taliban would take over at some point.
Biden blames the Afghan military. Walks away as a reporter shouts, "Why do you continue to trust the Taliban?" pic.twitter.com/ldgHP30akq

But avoiding answering questions from the press isn’t just Joe’s job. It’s the job of every White House staffer.
The White House carefully shields Joe Biden from making off-the-cuff remarks to the press because they know if he does, there is a good chance he’ll say something that gets him in trouble.
Joe is an ill-tempered hot-head who cannot abide even the mildest challenging question.
And the last thing the White House wants is more incidents like this:
CNN's @KaitlanCollins: "Why are you so confident [Putin] will change his behavior, Mr. President?"
Biden: "I'm not confident I'm going to change his behavior. What the hell? What do you do all the time? When did I say I was confident? I said….let's get it straight…." pic.twitter.com/h3wctccQRz
