Biden’s Press Secretary In Trouble After Trying To Gaslight Americans

( The big difference between former press secretary Jen Psaki and current press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is that Psaki was much better at lying.

The floundering Jean-Pierre is no match for Psaki’s smooth dissembling. As a result, she often finds herself scrambling to make the most flagrant lies sound believable.

During last Thursday’s press briefing, Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy sent Jean-Pierre into a fit of excuse-making after asking her why 88 percent of Americans think the country is headed in the wrong direction.

The bungling Jean-Pierre dismissed the views of 88 percent of the country by blaming their frustration on “Putin’s tax hike” and the war in Ukraine while offering the laughable claim that President Biden understands how frustrated we are.

Doocy refused to give up. He asked Jean-Pierre if it was possible that the president’s plan isn’t popular with the American people.

A defensive Jean-Pierre denied that the president’s plan isn’t popular. Then she told a remarkably obvious lie, telling Doocy that the country is “stronger economically” than it has ever been in history.

Yeah, really.

This brand of “don’t believe your lying eyes” is just staggering.

There are a lot of lies the White House could get away with. But lying about how people are doing economically isn’t one of them.

To be fair to Karine Jean-Pierre, the lies she peddles are the ones the White House tells her to peddle. She says nothing that isn’t printed up and stuck in that binder of hers.

The administration expects this unqualified dope to parrot the White House talking points no matter how outlandish and patently dishonest they might be. And because she is no Jen Psaki, Karine Jean-Pierre isn’t up to the job of being a convincing liar.
