(PatriotWise.com)- President Joe Biden, who already set the record for receiving the most “dark money” in any presidential election campaign in history, is now paving the way for dark money support of radical Supreme Court nominees.
Dark money refers to cash that cannot be traced back to the original donors, as it has been filtered through various PACs and campaign groups that don’t need to report the origins of their financial resources.
According to a report from CNBC on Monday, at least two major left-wing dark money groups are looking to spend huge sums of money backing whichever Black female attorney President Joe Biden nominates to sit on the Supreme Court. It comes after left-wing Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer announced his retirement, following a hateful pressure campaign from far-left extremist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and others to get him to step down.
According to CNBC, two advocacy groups known as Building Back Together and Demand Justice are looking to spend millions of dollars to secure the nomination of a Black female, and to pressure members of Congress to vote in favor of appointing whomever Biden chooses.
Brian Fallon, the Executive Director of Demand Justice, told CNBC that they expect the Senate to “act to confirm Biden’s pick quickly,” but that they will do all they can and “spend whatever is needed to ensure that ends up being the case.”
Don’t you kind of hope that after more than a year of bullying, moderate Democratic Senators Joe Manchin and Kirsten Sinema get their own back and refuse to back Biden’s pick?
That would be poetic justice.
President Joe Biden promised during his election campaign to nominate the first female Black Supreme Court justice if the opportunity were to arise, and he reaffirmed that commitment in a press conference recently alongside Justice Breyer.
The person I nominate will be someone with extraordinary qualifications, character, experience and integrity — and that person will be the first Black woman ever nominated to the United States Supreme Court. It’s long overdue, in my view,” he said.
So, in other words, Biden cares more about race and looking good to the extremists in his party than he does about appointing the right person for the job.
Oh, and he’s happy for dark money to help force his nomination through the Senate.
