Bob Woodward Says He’s Never Seen Any President With More Power After Leaving Office Than Trump

( Bob Woodward, the journalist who famously clashed with former President Donald Trump when he published details of an interview that suggested the former president was trying to keep the American public “calm” during the pandemic, is back with another book.

This time, during interviews promoting the new book on CNN, Woodward said that what’s happening across the nation is an “iron curtain of obedience to Trump.”

That’s a weird way of saying that a huge portion of the American public trusts the former president because he tells the truth about complex political issues…

Woodward made the comments, conveniently, right after the former president appeared at a rally in Des Moines, Iowa, on Saturday alongside Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa.

He told far-left “news” network CNN that Senator Grassley and others like him “can count” and that they look at their polls, go to their home states and talk to their constituents, and realize that there are “tens of millions of people who support Trump.”

And what’s wrong with that?

During the rally, Senator Grassley – who is running for re-election at the age of 88 – received the “complete and total endorsement” of the former president. Grassley himself also admitted later that it “wouldn’t be too smart” not to take the endorsement of Trump when he has 91% of the Republican voters on board in his state.

So instead of acknowledging that Trump is extremely popular because of the work he did as president, Woodward took to CNN to talk about the “iron curtain of obedience.”

Obedience? Or admiration? Or support?

Watch the words these people use. They choose them very carefully.
