“Civil War” Trends On Twitter After Trump Supporters Warn Of Coming Crisis

(PatriotWise.com)- You may have noticed that the term “Civil War” was trending on Twitter recently – and if you looked out the window and didn’t see people fighting with muskets and digging trenches, we’ve got all the answers for you.

It turns out that it came as a result of remarks made by an attendee at former President Donald Trump’s “Save America” rally in Iowa. The comments were widely circulated by the press, prompting Democrats and what remains of the Republican userbase on Twitter to debate the issue.

When Trump held his wildly successful Iowa State Fairground rally in Des Moines last Saturday, a Trump supporter named Lori Levi told MSNBC that she believes the United States is heading towards a civil war scenario. And instead of acknowledging the statement as a pretty fair prediction (what honest Democrat wouldn’t say that they want to fight the Republicans?), the media went into total meltdown about it.

During the interview, Levi criticized both the Democrats and Republicans, attacking members of the party she votes for over being “as weak as they possibly could be in Congress.”

“I see a civil war coming. I do, I see a civil war coming,” she said.

It quickly resulted in the words “Civil War” being tweeted almost 67,000 times on Sunday alone. Many of those tweets were Democrats claiming that Trump would cause the civil war, but Republicans acknowledged that it’s the Democrats who have advocated violent riots and arson throughout 2020 and beyond.

At this stage, shouldn’t we be acknowledging these serious political divides in our country rather than just ignoring them?

Or would it be less profitable for the media to actually try and solve our problems?
