Donald Trump Says Border Crisis Will Make U.S. A “Third World Nation”

( There’s no denying that the United States is experiencing a crisis at its southern border that President Joe Biden and his administration have not only figured out, but have made worse thus far.

But, former President Donald Trump believes that if something doesn’t happen soon, America will be considered a Third World nation. In a statement Trump released earlier this week, he said:

“The United States will soon be considered a ‘Third World Nation.’ There has never been anything like what is happening at our border. Millions of people have already poured in, but many more than that are coming!”

Trump released his statement at the perfect time, as more than 12,000 immigrants are camping under the Del Rio International Bridge, located right at the border between the U.S. and Mexico in Texas.

The makeshift camp that’s been set up under the bridge has been captured via video from aircraft and drones flown by media outlets. Migrants are attempting to cross illegally into the United States in a “steady stream,” and they’re not facing any resistance when they try to do so.

Raul Ortiz, the U.S. Border Patrol Chief, said the surge of migrants here could be due to social media and word of mouth spreading that the border there was open. Last week, there were roughly 400 immigrants at the camp, and estimates have increased to more than 14,000 at times.

Many of these migrants are Haitian, and are sleeping in tents or right on the dirt, and they’re surrounded by huge garbage piles that are only growing by the day. As video of the scene shows, not many of these people are wearing masks, even as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to get worse.

In response to the sickening scenes, the House Homeland GOP tweeted on Monday:

“The #BidenBorderCrisis has been marked by mistake after mistake from this Administration. There’s no doubt about it. The humanitarian and security crisis we’re seeing in Del Rio is a direct result of President Biden’s misguided open border policies.”

Several immigration and border policies instituted under Trump have been reversed or completely done away with under Biden. Not surprisingly, that’s when a huge surge of migrants came to the southern border immediately after, since these people thought they’d be treated better by the new Democratic regime.

In July alone, there were more than 200,000 crossings by migrants at the southern border. That was a new record for any one month, and was more than triple what the highest single-month number was for all of the Trump administration.

Last Saturday, the Department of Homeland Security said it would be implementing a “new, comprehensive strategy” to deal with the Del Rio situation. That would include sending more agents to the location, and flying some of the migrants to processing centers every day so they could go through an assessment and removed if they needed.

It’s a mess at the southern border, and nothing seems to be getting better.
