Donald Trump Wanted $10 Trillion From China In Reparations

( Peter Navarro, the former trade adviser to President Donald Trump, just revealed in a new book that Trump wanted as much as $10 trillion in reparations from China for unleashing the COVID-19 pandemic on the world.

And if that’s true, it makes you wonder why we didn’t hear more about that until now. If people knew we could be recovering as much as $10 trillion from China, then perhaps the election would have turned out differently – because there’s no way President Joe Biden would ever demand that.

In his book, “In Trump Time: A Journal of America’s Plague Year,” Navarro revealed that before the last presidential election he had proposed a panel of experts to be established to study the origins of the COVID-19 virus. As a result, in August of last year, an executive order was prepared for then-President Donald Trump titled “The National Commission on the Origins and Costs of COVID-19.”

The commission would have explored the origins of the virus as well as the costs and would have given Trump the information he needed to calculate precisely how much China owed the United States.

Navarro wrote that by forcing China to pay for the havoc it wreaked on the American economy, the United States could have effectively canceled all debt to China and still lay claim to trillions of dollars more in damages.

If only.

The book, which came out on Tuesday, explains precisely what China could have faced had Trump won the election in November of last year – and what may happen post-2024 if Trump does decide to run for office again.
