Dr. Fauci Claims, Without Evidence, That Unvaxed Illegals Are Not Causing COVID

(PatriotWise.com)- Dr. Anthony Fauci chose not to follow the science over the weekend, claiming wrongfully that illegal aliens are not responsible for spreading COVID-19 in the United States.

During an interview on “State of the Union” on CNN, Fauci claimed that a surge in COVID-19 infections across the country is “not driven by immigrants.”

He did not, however, explain how it is possible for unvaccinated illegal aliens pouring over the border, to the tune of 200,000 or more every month, could not spread the disease.

He told the so-called news network that the problem is “within our country.”

Yes, like the illegal aliens.

“The idea, when you have 700,000 Americans dead and millions and millions and millions of Americans getting infected, you don’t want to look outside to the problem,” he added.

What does that even mean?

Fauci said that “certainly, immigrants can get infected” but then claimed without evidence that they are “not the driving force.”

With the majority of Americans now vaccinated, and the majority of illegal aliens not only not vaccinated but often untraceable, on what authority can Fauci say with certainty that illegal aliens are not responsible for spreading the COVID Delta variant?

Data shows that Republicans and Democrats are very torn on this issue. A poll by the Kaiser Family Foundation found that a majority of Republicans believe that the recent surge in COVID-19 infections is caused by illegal aliens, while Democrats are more likely to blame it on people not taking the COVID-19 vaccine.

Wouldn’t it be helpful for public health officials to cite data rather than wildly speculate based on whatever is politically expedient at the time?
