Drag Queen Story Hour Hosted At US Military Base

(PatriotWise.com)- A Drag Queen Story Time was to be hosted by the United States Air Force at the Ramstein Air Base Library in Germany. That is until some concerned parents found out and put a stop to it.

A source informed an American online publication about a drag queen story hour for children that was to be hosted by the US Air Force at the Ramstein AF Base Library. The source was upset that the military used their tax dollars to sexualize children.

The Ramstein Library announced on Facebook they were celebrating Pride Month with Drag Queen Storytime and that Stacey Teed would be the special guest reader. The library suggested the children should dress up in their finest and most colorful clothing.

While she frequently takes her baby to the library for storytime, one mother of a toddler whose husband is stationed at the base told a Canadian publication that she was startled to find the Ramstein Air Force Base Library intends to offer an official drag queen story hour for children. She felt that the military should not be sexualizing youngsters with tax dollars.
In 2021, the library also offered a drag story hour, which featured a woman reading a story while dressed as a man.
According to reports, Drag Queen Story Hour events have sparked debate in numerous areas, including New York City, where they are supported with taxpayer dollars. Drag queens and kings are invited to read to children in libraries, schools, and other public places about pronouns, gender identity, and sexual themes that many parents believe are improper for children.

Lately, the US Air Force has promoted a “woke” agenda among military members. Reports also show the Air Force aims to establish “safe zones” for troops and women.

When asked for comment by a media outlet, the 86th Airlift Wing Public Affairs claimed that an advertisement was posted to the base library’s social media page before the event had completed Ramstein’s processes for review and approval. They further stated that Ramstein leaders strive to foster a culture based on inclusion where all people are treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their political views, color, race, or sexual orientation.

Ramstein is currently receiving troops and ammunition to support the Ukrainian combat effort against the invading army from Russia. American politicians have expressed worries that the military’s progressive leanings may have a negative influence on combat preparedness.
