Ex-Bush Adviser Claims Jesus Would Be Called A “Groomer” If He Lived Today

(PatriotWise.com)- Regular MSNBC contributor Matthew Dowd claimed on Wednesday that if Jesus Christ was still alive today, he would be called a “groomer,” a “socialist” and “woke.”

While appearing on Nicolle Wallace’s “Deadline White House,” Dowd, a former advisor to former President George W. Bush, said the message of Easter was “love one another.” He told Wallace that if Jesus was preaching the same Gospel message today “about treating everybody with dignity,” he would be called a groomer.

No, he wouldn’t. And not just because the Gospel message isn’t “treat everybody with dignity.”

Dowd claimed that Jesus would be accused of being “woke” and a “socialist” today because “he was nailed to a cross” for speaking on behalf of the most marginalized people in the Middle East.”

That’s not why he was executed.

But as the old meme goes: Tell us you know nothing about the Easter message without telling us you know nothing about the Easter message:

Jesus didn’t say “suffer the little children to come to me” because he wanted to teach little boys that just because they have a penis doesn’t mean they’re boys, for Pete’s sake. He didn’t say “suffer the little children to come to me so I can tell them all about gay sex and masturbation.”

This penchant of Leftists to use Jesus as a cat’s paw to advance their radical ideology is perverse.

Jesus didn’t die on the cross solely for the benefit of “marginalized people.” What nonsense.

To reduce Jesus’ ministry, death, and resurrection to “love conquers hate” is disingenuous, to say the least.

What’s more, if Dowd really is the follower of Christ he claims to be, how on earth could he use the phrase “if Jesus were alive today” just three days after Christians celebrated Easter? Isn’t the whole point of Easter that Jesus rose from the dead?

It isn’t necessary to present a hypothetical Jesus living today because Jesus is alive today. That’s the point of Easter; “he is risen.”

But that isn’t the point for Matthew Dowd.

Like every other Leftist, Dowd wants to use people’s Christian faith as a weapon against them.
