FBI Tried To Delete This Optimistic Trump Tweet

(PatriotWise.com) – Last Monday, independent journalist David Zweig released another installment of the Twitter Files that revealed the extent to which the Biden administration pressured Twitter to censor information about COVID “that was true but inconvenient to U.S. govt. policy.”

Zweig presented irrefutable evidence that the White House was engaging in censorship by proxy to silence and discredit medical experts who disagreed with the administration’s official COVID policies while “suppressing ordinary users, including some sharing the CDC’s *own data*.”

Included in his thread was the surprising revelation that Twitter’s now-fired deputy general counsel James Baker sent an email to then-head of Trust and Safety, Yoel Roth, asking that an October 2020 tweet from then-President Donald Trump urging Americans not to be “afraid of Covid” be labeled as misinformation.

After Trump ended his stay at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center after his bout with the coronavirus in the fall of 2020, the former president tweeted, “Feeling really good! Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life.”

The former president then boasted of the “great drugs & knowledge” developed under his administration and said he felt better “than I did 20 years ago!”

Baker asked Roth why Trump’s tweet wasn’t a “violation of our COVID-19 policy” on spreading misinformation.

The notorious anti-Trump Baker, who as FBI general counsel played a major role in facilitating the RussiaGate hoax, was adamant that Trump’s tweet went too far, especially the part where Trump said, “Don’t be afraid of Covid.”

In his emailed reply, Roth said he couldn’t remove the tweet since it did not “fall with the published scope of our policies.” He said Trump’s tweet was “a broad, optimistic statement” that doesn’t “incite people to do something harmful” or “recommend against taking precautions” like masking.

Roth told Baker that he was “curious” if he had “a different read on it, though.”
