(PatriotWise.com)- A new advisory warns of “domestic violent extremists attacking federal, state, and local law enforcement or government buildings.”
The FBI raid on Donald Trump’s Florida resort and border insecurity raises the possibility of angry Americans turning to domestic terrorism, the Biden administration warned over the weekend.
The warnings were issued after a man tried to attack an FBI office in Cincinnati and a vehicle slammed into a barrier at the Capitol before the driver committed suicide.
“Last night, DHS and DOJ sent a Joint Intelligence Bulletin via the Homeland Security Information Network,” CBP Commissioner Chris Magnus wrote in a memo to 60,000 employees.
Magnus wrote that the cautions were issued in light of increased threats and acts of violence, including armed encounters, against law enforcement, judiciary, and government workers. Since the search, the FBI and DHS have seen more online threats against federal personnel and installations.
In the aftermath of the Cincinnati incident, where the perpetrator was killed, some federal police agencies were requested to watch the social media accounts of recognized political influencers for signs of agitation, according to a senior law enforcement officer.
The Aug. 8 FBI raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago compound was highlighted in most warnings. Some, like Magnus’ brief, highlighted illegal immigration worries, claiming they weren’t merited despite scores of lawmakers expressing fear about border security under President Biden, authorities said.
According to the June 7 National Terrorism Advisory System Bulletin, some domestic violent extremists have complained that the U.S. isn’t working to secure the U.S.-Mexico border. “Domestic violent extremists may use these issues to justify violence against border security officers.”
The memos indicated no particular or credible threats but encouraged heightened awareness.
“Out of caution and to preserve the safety of our personnel and federal facilities, we encourage you to remain attentive and mindful of your surroundings,” a memo added.
Meanwhile, cities burned at the hands of BLM and Antifa, and no such “heightened awareness” memos have circulated.
In fact, the president called Antifa an “idea.” not an organization.
The FBI doen’t fear BLM or Antifa because they are their comrades.
