Geraldo Rivera Claims AOC Is A “Woman Of Color”

( Left-wing Fox host Geraldo Rivera hit out at popular Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson this week after he claimed that far-left New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is not actually a “woman of color.”

The comment rubbed a lot of people up the wrong way given how obsessive and proud AOC is of not being white, and how she often incorporates race into her politics and narratives.

“To be clear Alexandria Ocasio Cortez is a proud woman of color,” Rivera said.

Did he really need to include the word “proud”?

“To claim otherwise is mere provocation,” he added.

Come on. This is where politics is today? This is what people are debating?

It comes after Carson hit out at AOC, who recently claimed that Carlson is a “creep” and implied that he may sexually harass people at Fox News, called her “Sandy Cortez.”

Carlson showed a clip on his program of AOC giving her Instagram followers pointers on how to apply makeup, and at one point in the video she calls herself a “woman of color.”

But Carlson had something to say about that.

“No one ever dares to challenge that description, but every honest person knows it is hilariously absurd,” he explained. “There is no place on Earth outside of American colleges and newsrooms where Sandy Cortez would be recognized as a quote, woman of color, because she’s not.”

Whether Carlson is being provocative or not doesn’t really matter. The fact that Rivera chimed in to defend her and that AOC gets so mad about it kind of proves the point Carlson is making.

And the point is that AOC defines her politics by race – something that the United States left behind many decades ago in the wake of the civil rights movement.

Maybe Rivera should think about that, instead.

And perhaps AOC should stop accusing people of being sex pests just because they disagree with her.
