Jews Ask Ilhan Omar To Learn More About Jews

( Representative Ilhan Omar has been very outspoken against U.S.-Israeli relations, and has gotten a lot of flack for her comments that at times seem very un-American.

The prominent member of The Squad in the House, Omar recently deflected criticism she received as a question from CNN’s Jake Tapper. The Minnesota Democrat responded:

“I’ve welcomed any time my colleagues asked to have a conversation to learn from them [and] for them to learn from me. I think it’s really important for these members to realize that they haven’t been partners in justice.”

As she’s always done, Omar won’t take any responsibility for what she says — even when it’s comparing Israel and America to recognized terrorist groups like Hamas.

Recently, political analyst Bassem Eid called out Omar for her actions in a column written for the Jewish Press. Eid is a good person to comment on the situation, as he’s a Palestinian political analyst who’s based in Jerusalem.

He grew up in a refugee camp just outside of Jerusalem, and has been a human rights activist for much of his life. In his column, Eid calls out Omar very bluntly when he writes:

“Let me say this as directly as I can: Rep. Omar does not know what she is talking about. Worse, for years, Rep. Omar has been engaged in not arguing any facts, but simply throwing out dirty anti-Semitic epithets, a mirror image of the anti-Semitism by ‘white supremacists’ she claims to decry.

“Politicians like Omar, Rashida Tlaib and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez spend a considerable amount of time attacking Israel for the supposed harm it inflicts on Palestinians. If they truly care about the wellbeing of Palestinians, they ought to focus their attention elsewhere.

“These days, the vast majority of suffering Palestinians experience is the direct result of the corruption of the Palestinian Authority and the influence of the terrorist group Hamas.”

A man who is living the conflict that Omar and the rest of The Squad so often talk about directly contradicts what Omar has been saying. She’s misguided, at the very least, and is throwing her anger toward Jews. Eid, instead, says that the anger should be thrown toward the Palestinian government and Hamas — the real, actual terrorist organization in the picture.

The corruption that’s going on in Palestine is crippling the economy, making it tough for people to get jobs and even having a dire effect on vaccine distribution.

Eid writes that many civil rights groups have said recently that wealthy government officials have been taking COVID-19 vaccines that were initially meant for medical workers. What’s worse, the Palestinian Health Ministry even admitted that this is exactly what happened.

Eid then concludes by offering to help Omar and her cronies. He writes:

“In this same spirit of willingness to come together, I invite Representatives Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to meet with me, a Palestinian living in the West Bank, to discuss the problems of the Palestinians and the best solutions to address them. These congresswomen say they are willing to listen and learn. Well, if they really are, here’s their chance.”
