Joe Biden’s Brother Is Raising Eyebrows
(PatriotWise.com) – Republican Senator Chuck Grassley is calling on the FBI to disclose records he says will confirm that the Biden family was engaging in possible criminal pay-to-play business deals in China.
In a letter sent to Attorney General Merrick Garland, FBI Director Christopher Wray, and US Attorney for Delaware David Weiss, Grassley said recent disclosures provided to his office indicate that there is “significant and voluminous evidence” of possible criminal conduct by Hunter Biden and President Biden’s brother, James Biden.
The ranking Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee demanded that the Justice Department and the FBI “come clean to Congress” about the steps they have taken “or failed to take” regarding the investigation into Hunter’s dirty deals.
US Attorney Weiss has been investigating Hunter Biden on potential tax and gun violations. It was recently reported that federal agents heading up the probe believe they have enough evidence to charge Hunter.
Along with his letter, Senator Grassley attached a contract signed by Hunter Biden, James Biden, and three other business associates as part of an arrangement to funnel $5 million from the CCP-linked CEFC to Hunter and James to compensate them for work done while Joe Biden was vice president.
According to Grassley, the FBI has records showing that Hunter “yelled at CEFC officials at a meeting for failing to fund the joint venture.”
In his letter, Grassley said this document also noted that the money had still not been transferred by July 2017 and James Biden “considered calling CEFC officials and threatening to withdraw Biden family support from future deals.”
Grassley also said that the FBI was in possession of a document revealing that then-Vice President Biden met with Hunter and his business associates at a conference in Los Angeles in May 2017.
In his letter, the Republican Senator notes that the information provided to his office by Hunter’s former business associate Tony Bobulinski provides “a sufficient basis to open a full field investigation on pay-to-play rounds.” However, Grassley adds, it isn’t clear whether the FBI ever did so. Nor is it clear if US Attorney Weiss is including the information in his ongoing investigation.
