Judge Orders Biden Officials To Hand Over Communication Over Censorship Push

(PatriotWise.com) – Last week, a Louisiana judge ordered the Department of Homeland Security to release files that could reveal the alleged involvement of five CISA agents in the federal government’s efforts to suppress social media content deemed election “misinformation.”

In the ongoing lawsuit brought against the Biden administration by Missouri and Louisiana, Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey and Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry moved to release supplemental disclosures from five Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) employees, Chad Josiah, Rob Schaul, Alex Zaheer, John Stafford, and Pierce Lowary after previous testimony outlined their involvement in the administration’s counter-disinformation efforts.

In his order last Wednesday, Judge Terry Doughty approved the plaintiff’s motion and ordered the release which could provide insight into the so-called “switchboarding” tactic employed during the 2020 election.

The lawsuit, filed last year, alleges that officials in the Biden administration “colluded and/or coerced social media companies to suppress disfavored speakers, viewpoints, and content on social media platforms by labeling the content ‘dis-information,’ ‘mis-information,’ and ‘mal-information.”

The five CISA agents allegedly served as a “switchboard,” routing requests from federal agencies to censor so-called disinformation to the various social media platforms.

In deposition testimony which was publicly released in January, CISA election security agent Brian Skully explained that “an audit official” who would identify something deemed disinformation on social media would forward it to CISA. CISA would then share the information with “the appropriate social media companies.”

Skully’s testimony also revealed that the Justice Department, Homeland Security’s intelligence branch, and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence participated in meetings with executives from social media companies to address so-called “misinformation” during the 2022 midterm election.

In a statement last week, Missouri Attorney General Bailey said Skully’s deposition reveals that the Biden administration “weaponized” CISA to “suppress domestic free speech.
