(PatriotWise.com) — Last Friday, Louisiana’s outspoken Senator John Kennedy launched into one of his trademark humorous responses while discussing the latest word salad served up by Vice President Kamala Harris, Mediaite reported.
During Fox’s “The Story” last Friday, guest host Trace Gallagher played the viral clip of Kamala attempting to discuss the importance of culture at the Essence Festival of Culture last week.
In the clip, which has been viewed more than 2 million times on Twitter, Kamala defined culture as a “reflection of our moment in our time.”
She went on rambling that “present culture” is how “we express our feeling about the moment” and how important it is to “find times to express how we feel about that moment,” which she claimed is a “reflection of joy.”
Noting that Kamala “has a history” of making “baffling and indecipherable comments” that are not especially “confidence-building,” Gallagher asked Kennedy for his thoughts.
Kennedy conceded that he bears no ill will toward Kamala whom he served with on the Senate Judiciary Committee, but said that she is “struggling” in the polls right now for two reasons.
Kennedy said Kamala “doesn’t appear to be prepared” and is incapable of expressing herself.
Kennedy said that it is the second problem that Kamala has to work on. He suggested that Kamala learn to be “more articulate,” jokingly adding that based on her public speaking, some might suggest that “English is not her first, second, third, or even fourth language.”
He added that his advice to anyone is “always be yourself unless you suck.” For those who do suck, Kennedy suggested they should “have enough self-awareness to know you suck” and do something about it.
Kennedy added that Kamala isn’t trying to be herself. Instead, she’s “trying to sound smart” rather than simply “saying what she believes” in a “clear articulate manner” that Americans can understand.
