Lisa Murkowski FALLING – New Frontrunner Announced!

Lisa Murkowski Behind Challenger

(PatriotWise.com) – One of the worst RINOs in the U.S. Senate is Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, who opposed the confirmation of Justice Brett Kavanaugh in 2018 due to false rape allegations and voted to impeach President Donald Trump over the supposed “insurrection” on January 6.

The super PAC Senate Leadership Fund, run by RINO Senate GOP leader Mitch McConnell, spent more than $5 million in commercials criticizing Kelly Tshibaka in an attempt to help Murkowski win reelection, according to the Washington Post.

The chickens appear to have gone home to roost just now.

Kelly Tshibaka, a Donald Trump-sponsored MAGA challenger, is now leading Murkowski with 44.3% of the vote (89,538) as of 2 a.m. Pacific time. Murkowski received 42.7% of the first-choice ballots in Alaska’s ranked voting system (86,342 votes). Patricia Chesbro, a Democrat, only garnered 9.1% of the vote (19,506 votes).

Murkowski, who received just over 42% of the first-choice votes, “may yet surpass Tshibaka,” according to the Anchorage Daily News.

Under Alaska’s new ranked-choice voting system, a candidate must receive more than 50% of the vote to win. If no candidate surpasses that threshold in first-choice votes (as appears to be the case in this contest), the last-place contender is eliminated, and the voter’s second choices are counted.

As many observers had anticipated, the ranked-voting system in the Alaska House campaign split the Republican ticket, with Sarah Palin earning 53,202 votes (26.84%) and Nick Begich receiving 48,800 (24.61%). In total, the two Republicans received 102,002 votes. Mary Peltola is in the lead despite receiving only 92,773 votes (46.7%) from Democrats.

Results aren’t official under Alaska’s new voting method until a contender receives more than 50% of the vote. Election officials will count second and third-choice votes on November 23 to determine the winner.

As if it were a wonderful thing, the Daily Beast talked about Alaska’s messed-up ranked voting system in an article titled “How a Democrat Won a State With Just 12% Dem Voters.”

The left is giddy that the people’s will has been sullied with a ridiculous system.

The system favors an electorate that doesn’t care who the candidate is as long as they are in the preferred party. That sounds a lot like the left. The right tends to favor specific candidates.

The left would vote for a brain-addled stroke victim that believes murderers should be set free.
