Man Claims To Have Buried A Body At Camp Lejeune In Alleged Tiktok Confession

(PatriotWise.com) — Military authorities are investigating claims made in a video that appeared briefly on TikTok in which a man confesses to having helped to bury a body at the US Marine Corps base at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, WITN reported.

The Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) confirmed that it is investigating the matter.

Jeff Houston, an NCIS spokesman, said the law enforcement agency would not comment further about an ongoing investigation.

Maj. Joshua Pena, a Marine Corps spokesman, confirmed that the Marines’ Training and Education Command was aware of the content of the video, and an investigation by the appropriate organizations and commands is underway.

In the video, which was shared on TikTok earlier this week before being removed, an unidentified man claimed that a Marine Corps sergeant from Camp Lejeune along with two other Marines buried the body of a “biker dude” who had been killed in a fight outside of a bar in Sneads Ferry.

The man claimed to be the designated driver that night when the Marines put the body into the back of a truck to look for a place to dispose of it. Initially, the men sought to dump the body in a jetty but were scared away by a military police vehicle, the man said. He claimed that they then drove to a rarely used landing zone at Camp Lejeune.

The man gives directions on how to find the body, saying the body could be found about 20 to thirty feet into the woods, buried about 10 feet down.

Onslow County Sheriff Chris Thomas confirmed that the Sheriff’s Department provided some assistance in the investigation but told WITN that any further details on the investigation would be provided by the Marine Corps and NCIS.
