(PatriotWise.com)- A UK gossip blog slapped on a tinfoil hat last week and claimed that one of the documents seized in the FBI raid of Mar-a-Lago could be related to a fictional “cellmate” Ghislaine Maxwell made up while in jail.
Apparently, Maxwell told the UK Daily Mail late last year that she made up a fictitious “cellmate” she called A-17. And, one of the boxes seized from Trump’s home included the reference number A-17.
Oh, good grief.
Meanwhile, back here on Planet Earth, Just the News reported on Monday that, despite its previous denials, it appears the Biden White House was directly involved in the Justice Department’s criminal probe into former President Trump that resulted in the FBI raid.
Just the news obtained memos from then-White House Deputy Counsel Jonathan Su showing that Su was involved in ongoing discussions with the FBI, DOJ, and the National Archives as early as April this year.
In a May memo, Su informed the National Archives that President Biden wouldn’t object to waiving Trump’s claims to executive privilege.
According to Just the News, this decision “opened the door for the DOJ to get a grand jury to issue a subpoena” forcing Trump to return any other documents still in his possession.
In another letter obtained by Just the News, the acting National Archivist Debra Steidel Wall informed Trump’s legal team on May 10 of the White House Counsel’s Office’s involvement in the ongoing controversy.
Steidel Wall notes in her letter that the White House Counsel informed her that “President Biden defers to my determination” over whether or not she decides to uphold Trump’s “purported ‘protective assertion of executive privilege.’” She adds that she had decided not to honor Trump’s privilege claim.
Given the White House’s involvement in the ongoing battle between the National Archives and Trump that led to the August 8 raid on Mar-a-Lago, how can the White House repeatedly claim that it had “no advanced knowledge” of what the Justice Department and FBI planned to do?
