(PatriotWise.com)- On Sunday, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi appeared on CBS News’ “Face the Nation” where she attacked the Supreme Court, lied about the leaked draft opinion, and promoted the Democrats’ efforts to “codify” Roe v. Wade.
And during her interview, Pelosi appeared to inadvertently admit that Democrats hope to exploit the illegal leak of Justice Samuel Alito’s draft opinion to pressure the Supreme Court to “improve” the decision.

It is widely believed that the leak was part of a coordinated effort to intimidate the six conservative Justices on the Court into backing away from overturning Roe v. Wade. And Pelosi’s remarks seem to somewhat confirm that belief.
During her interview, Pelosi even invoked Mother’s Day to defend unfettered abortion. She blasted the Court for slapping women in the face and being “so disrespectful of women” just before Mother’s Day.
The Supreme Court hasn’t even ruled on Dobbs yet. Alito’s draft opinion is just that, a draft opinion. It isn’t the ruling of the Court.
But what nerve to invoke Mother’s Day to defend the unfettered killing of the unborn.
Pelosi also promoted the efforts in Congress to pass a bill making abortion legal during all nine months of pregnancy. She told host Margaret Brennan that lawmakers are “either for the enshrinement of Roe v. Wade” or they are not. She claimed Roe is “the law of the land.”
Roe v. Wade isn’t the law of the land. The Supreme Court cannot legislate.
Then Pelosi repeated the lies other Democrats have been screeching for over a week, telling Brennan that overturning Roe would lead to overturning “marriage equality” and contraception.
