Pelosi Predicts Democrats Will Hold Majority After Midterm Elections

(PatriotWise.com)- Remember how House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats repeatedly predicted that Joe Biden would win the 2020 presidential election just so long as he waits, doesn’t concede, and allows the mail-in votes (which they claim were totally legitimate) to come in?

Well, now Pelosi is predicting that the Democrats will hold their majority in the House and Senate after the 2022 midterm elections, sparking fears that she knows something the rest of America doesn’t.

Speaking to CBS News last Thursday, Pelosi said that she feels “very confident that the Democrats will hold the majority after the next election.”

“I think that we’re – for all the huffing and puffing the Republicans are doing, these numbers were not as good for them as they had hoped. They wanted three in Texas, two In Florida, and the rest,” she said.

Pelosi completely ignored the fact that Republicans ate into the House majority so much that the Democrats now have one of the smallest majorities since the first World War, and with President Joe Biden promising damaging tax increases and refusing to handle the border, things don’t look good for the Democrats in 2022.

Or at least they wouldn’t if the voting process was secure…

As it stands, the House has 218 Democrats and 212 Republicans. That’s a single-digit majority. There are five vacancies yet to be filled, but until then, Pelosi can only afford to lose two votes from her own party to pass legislation.

And in normal circumstances, the Democrats should be on track to lose in 2022, with the party of the president usually losing two years into the presidency. But Pelosi is strangely confident.

“The best politics of all is to get the job done for the American people, the blueprint that was put forth by the president last night to meet the needs of the American people. That’s what we’re about. We’re not worrying about who’s going to be speaker two years from now,” she said.

I bet she is worrying about who is going to be speaker two years from now…
