(PatriotWise.com) — A Gallup poll released last week found that Americans’ views on the morality of the LGBT movement have declined.
Gallup’s annual Values and Beliefs survey found that only 42 percent of Americans believe that it is morally acceptable to change one’s gender, declining slightly from 2021.
In 2021, a record 71 percent of American adults said gay or lesbian relationships were morally acceptable. But this year, that number has dropped to 64 percent.
Republicans are largely responsible for the decline in support for gay or lesbian relationships, with only 41 percent saying they are morally acceptable, down from 56 percent last year. This is the lowest measure Gallup has recorded from Republican voters since 2014 when only 39 percent said gay or lesbian relationships were morally acceptable.
The decline in public support for the LGBT movement was no doubt prompted by the movement pushing itself on children, Just the News reported.
In recent months, corporations, the media, and even the White House have been doubling down on the LGBT movement to the point where many Americans believe the culture is being forced on them and their children.
The pushback has caused some companies to distance themselves from the LGBT movement, especially after the blowback caused financial disaster to Bud Light and Target.
Most recently, the White House was forced to condemn attendees from its own Pride Month celebration after a transgender “influencer” “Rose” Montoya stripped topless to show off his surgically-implanted breasts.
Faced with blowback, the White House said Montoya’s behavior was “not reflective” of the White House Pride event, and said that he, along with the others who bared their “top” surgery scars in the video, would not be invited back to the White House.
In a tweet last Wednesday, The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh declared social conservatism in the ascendency. He noted the “massive losses” companies pushing the LGBT movement have suffered and the number of states who have passed laws barring transgender treatment to minors, as well as the recent incidents of students “pushing back” against their schools’ Pride Month celebrations.
