(FreedomJournal.org)- Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden will soon face a tough choice between inviting the entirety of the world’s migrants into the United States or saying no to his increasingly radical base.
A proposed policy platform devised by supporters of Senator Bernie Sanders doesn’t just make it easier for people to apply for asylum in the United States…but recommends amnesty and a pathway to obtaining legal citizenship in the United States to 22 million illegal aliens already living in the United States, and to hundreds of millions of other migrants all over the world who would obtain US citizenship if it were possible.
The platform, which is called the Biden-Sanders Unity Task Force Recommendations report, is one of the most radical and extreme platforms proposed by a mainstream party in the United States. If adopted by Biden as an official platform, and if adopted should he win the presidency in November, it would fundamentally transform the United States and change the way the country votes forever.
If tens of millions of migrants are welcomed into the United States, no Republican president would ever win an election, as they would be known as the candidate who opposed the granting of citizenship to those millions of voters.
Under the proposed platform, anybody applying for asylum at the U.S.-Mexico border would be processed and let into the United States where they would wait for their hearings. At present, people are expected to wait for their hearings outside the United States to ensure that people are not simply applying and then disappearing and living as illegals in the United States for years to come.
That’s how it worked before Trump was elected, by the way. But this platform would make it worse. Research from Gallup published in 2018 found that there are 160 million migrants all over the world who would move to the United States if the opportunity presented itself. With this plan, those people would be granted asylum no-questions-asked.
Does that make you feel safe?
Some of the other demands of the policy platform document include”
– Starting employment-based green cards
– Expanding the U visa program
– Americans would be made to subsidize welfare-dependent immigration
– Obamacare granted to DACA illegals
– Increasing refugee intake
– Rescinding the national emergency at the border declared by Trump
– Restarting DACA
Can Biden win on such a platform? Maybe, maybe not…and he probably knows it’s a big risk. But is it an even bigger risk to tell his extremist voter base “no”?
