(PatriotWise.com)- A Wyoming radio advertisement attacking Representative Liz Cheney reportedly aired on the waves in the red state, calling her a “D.C. Diva.” The ad comes amid the politicians immense flirtation with the Democratic Party since former-President Donald Trump took office in 2016.
The ad attacked her for being so out-of-touch with the state she is supposed to be representing, calling her out for her infrequent visits to the state. Not only does she spend most of her time in Washington, D.C., but when she’s not shilling for the Democrats in the January 6 hearings as a member of the select committee allegedly “investigating” the so-called “insurrection,” she is in her home in the wealthy community of McLean, Virginia.
The ad was taken out by Outrider PAC, a group supporting Harriet Hageman, the Trump-endorsed candidate who leads Cheney by 28 points. The group plans to spend $100,000 before the August primary and has so far spent $30,000 in radio ads alone. The ad indirectly attacks the incumbent by highlighting the fact that nothing is ever getting done.
“Ouch, have you seen these gas prices?” the ad says. “They just keep going up. And Washington is too busy fighting to work on solutions. Nothing gets done. We need fewer DC divas and more problem solvers.”
The ad continues with a show of support for Hageman and her bipartisanship plan to help support American energy independence. “That’s why I’m supporting Harriet Hageman,” the ad goes on. “She supports bipartisan efforts to increase American energy independence. And help bring the supply chain back to the US.”
Hageman repeated a similar message. “Liz Cheney has lost Wyoming. Liz Cheney doesn’t live in Wyoming. She doesn’t represent us,” Hageman told Breitbart News. “She doesn’t represent our values.”
Cheney has been losing Republican support since voting to impeach Trump. Her disapproval rating stands at 72%, up over 40 points since before her vote to impeach. This represents a growing trend in the country as Trump-endorsed candidates are ousting so-called “RINOS” for their capitulation to the Democratic Party.
The Wyoming GOP voted to no longer recognize Cheney as a Republican in November, leaving the isolated representative to call on the only party that will vote for her: Democrats. The representative recently took out “direct mailers” with instructions for Wyoming Democrats, urging them to switch parties just in time for the August primary in order to vote for her, a Hail Mary that even Wyoming’s secretary of state said will not work, not even if all Democrats in the state vote for politician.
