Reporter Reads Out Biden Press Secretary’s Old Tweets To Her Face

When Karine Jean-Pierre was first named as Jen Psaki’s replacement as White House press secretary last spring, many conservative columnists made note of Jean-Pierre’s history of calling into question both Donald Trump’s 2016 election win and Stacey Abrams’ loss in 2018.

In previous tweets, Jean-Pierre had claimed that Donald Trump was an “illegitimate president” who had “stolen” the 2016 presidential election. In early 2020, Jean-Pierre tweeted that Georgia Governor Brian Kemp “stole” the election “from Georgians and Stacey Abrams.”

When Jean-Pierre was first hired, conservative columnist Stephen L. Miller called up her previous tweets and in the intervening months routinely asked on Twitter when White House reporters would bring up her so-called “election denialism” tweets in a press briefing.

Well, it took nearly four months, but Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy finally did just that.

Last Tuesday, Doocy called out the White House’s repeated claims that “MAGA Republicans” pose a threat to “democracy” for claiming that the 2020 presidential election was fraudulent by asking Jean-Pierre about her previous claims that the 2016 election and 2018 Georgia election were stolen.

Jean-Pierre claimed that she had been waiting for that question. But even with anticipating the question, Jean-Pierre’s answer was, like all of her answers, full of deflection and whataboutism.

She claimed that comparing her election-denying tweets to those questioning the 2020 election was “ridiculous.”

Jean-Pierre claimed that she has been clear that Trump won in 2016 and Brian Kemp won in 2018. She obviously wasn’t clear since she previously tweeted that Trump and Kemp “stole” their elections.

She also argued that her tweet against Kemp was in response to Georgia’s voter integrity laws (which hadn’t passed yet at the time she tweeted her claim that Kemp “stole” the election).

She claimed that the 2020 election fraud claims directly led to the January 6 riot where officers died (no officers died).

Watch HERE.

She would have saved herself a lot of time if she just admitted, “It’s different when Democrats do it.”
