Rich Clinton Donor Pushes For New Conservative Outlet

( Fred Eychaner, a deep-pocketed donor to the Democrats based in Chicago, has backed the formation of a new left-wing media outlet that launches last Thursday. The new media outlet combines WCPT, a progressive talk radio station that’s popular in the Midwest, with Heartland Signal, a new online news site that is set to focus on the upcoming midterm elections.

Eychaner, who donated heavily to the Clinton campaign in 2016, has put in an estimated $100 million to Democrat campaigns over the last 20 years. His endorsement and financial backing of this new news outlet is significant given his heavy support to the Clinton Foundation.

Patti Vasquez, a weekday host on WCPT, said that the new news outlet is important because “conservatives have been masterful for the last 40 to 50 years of amplifying and saturating markets throughout the country.”

She added that this new outlet is a “move toward a balance” – as if there aren’t many ultra-left-wing news outlets out there already.

What, CNN and MSNBC aren’t progressive enough for these people?

Politico reported that WCPT has recently begun expanding its programming and interviewed Jaime Harrison, the Democratic National Committee Chair, frequently in recent weeks.

And according to a memo that was obtained by Politico, the new Heartland Signal website is expected to focus on everything from the far-left “Build Back Better” plan and how they claim it will benefit local communities to the Republican Minnesota candidate for governor Paul Gazelka’s alleged history of “anti-LGBTQ stances.”

No word on whether or not the new outlet will focus on how inflation and the border crisis are hurting average American families everywhere…

Tim Hogan, a consultant for the Democrats who has worked as a senior adviser for the new project, said that the site will have a progressive “perspective” but will be “grounded in facts.”

Two things that…don’t really go well together.
