(FreedomJournal.org)- President Donald Trump sent the Democrats into meltdown on Thursday when he publicly pondered the possibility of delaying the November presidential election over fears that the Democrats would rig it through the introduction of universal mail-in voting.
In a tweet, Trump noted that mail-in voting would result in the “most INACCURATE & FRAUDULENT Election in history,” a claim that many Americans are increasingly understanding. Mail-in voting, wherever it has been tried, has resulted in lost ballots and even instances of fraud. President Trump has warned for months that expanding mail-in voting could cause chaos in the November election, and open it up to abuse and fraud.
“With Universal Mail-In Voting (not Absentee Voting, which is good), 2020 will be the most INACCURATE & FRAUDULENT Election in history,” he wrote. “It will be a great embarrassment to the USA. Delay the Election until people can properly, securely and safely vote???”

Republicans have been split over the comments, with some suggesting the comments will be used against him by the Democrats to suggest he is fearful of losing. Others, however, argue that President Trump is purposely trolling the Democrats to prove their hypocrisy. Given President Trump’s history of doing this sort of thing, it could well be a tactical play.
This is the first time the president has suggested something like this, and there is no suggestion that he even has the authority to do it. The concern, however, over the credibility of an election held through mail-in voting is growing.
On Wednesday, the president tweeted a video report from CBS News that shows just how dangerous mail-in voting can be.

In their own study, which involved sending out 100 mock ballots papers to various places across Philadelphia, 3 papers were not returned. The study found that those 3% of people were “effectively disenfranchised by mail by giving their ballots a week to arrive.”
If even small studies like this are showing a 3% non-return problem, can you imagine how bad that would be in a national election?
