Ukraine Takes Action Against Russia’s Forces

(PatriotWise.com) — With the might of the entire Western world funding hundreds of billions of dollars in military equipment and finances, Ukraine manages a few key victories. Recently, it has been able to defend itself from Russia’s persistent onslaught of missiles. Six hypersonic Russian missiles were shot down by Ukraine’s air defenses, according to Newsweek.

Russia launched 18 missiles into Ukraine at 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday, according to the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces. Six Kh-47M2 Kinzhal hypersonic missiles reportedly came from the MiG-31K jets. Nine Kalibr missiles were launched from vessels in the Black Sea. Other missiles, like the short-range Iskander-M, were fired. Ukrainian authorities confirmed that all of them were successfully shot down.

Serhiy Popko, the head of Ukraine’s military administration, said that the attack was a steady and maximum stream of missiles in a short period of time, calling it “exceptional in density,” and noting its complex directions. Russia’s Defense Ministry also informed others about its attack, saying that it was targeting ammunition storage sites that contained military equipment from Western countries.

Ukraine has also recently used the American Patriot air defense system to intercept Russia’s hypersonic missiles. But Ukraine and Russia both agree that the system is outdated. Putin suggested that the Soviet weapons being sent to Ukraine will eventually run out.

As the U.S. remains Ukraine’s largest benefactor, Russian President Vladimir Putin has reportedly said that sending Ukraine weapons will only prolong the conflict. He claimed that he is ready to enter peace talks but said that Ukraine has refused to do so.

While the West backs Ukraine, there is a growing relationship between Russia, China, and North Korea. Putin has recently received support from Kim Jong-Un. The dictator praised Putin’s “holy war” and said that he will win against the “imperialists,” referring to the West.
