“Unabomber” Ted Kacynski Moved To Prison Medical Facility

(PatriotWise.com)- Ted Kaczynski, the “Unabomber,” has reportedly been transferred to a medical facility in a federal prison.

Kaczynski, a terrorist who sent homemade bombs and protested the widespread and growing use of technology, is experiencing an unknown medical problem. Kristie Breshears, a spokeswoman for the Bureau of Prisons, confirmed the news to the Washington Post, explaining how he had been transferred from a Florence, Colorado supermax prison.

At 79 years old, Kaczynski is serving multiple life sentences and has no prospect of ever leaving prison.

He was responsible for mailing and delivering sophisticated bombs between 1978 and 1996 and is responsible for killing three people and injuring almost two dozen people in that period. He was only caught when his brother identified his manifesto as something similar to what he writes.

In 1997, he pleaded guilty to the terrorism charges brought against him – and confirmed that he believed his attacks were appropriate because of society’s increasing reliance on technology.

While he will never leave prison, he did escape a death sentence.
