Washington Post Issues Correction After Pressure From Trump Jr.

(PatriotWise.com)- Donald Trump Jr., the son of former President Donald Trump, successfully pressured the Washington Post newspaper to issue a correction about what a crowd was chanting during a speech he made in George recently.

The Washington Post reported on October 23, in a piece titled “Biden’s critics hurl increasingly vulgar taunts,” the Post wrongly claimed that the crowd was chanting “Let’s Go Brandon.”

In reality, they were chanting something much more vulgar, and much more embarrassing for President Joe Biden. They were chanting, “F*ck Joe Biden!”

When the crowd chanted “USA! USA!” to a speech by the son of the former president, he said”

“There’s a couple other chants I’ve been hearing going around… Have you heard the other one that’s been going around?”

That’s when the crowd started chanting “F*ck Joe Biden!”

The fact that the Post issued a correction on this is particularly funny, given that the “Let’s Go Brandon!” chant was born of another journalist mishearing “F*ck Joe Biden!” chants. When she claimed the crowd was chanting “Let’s Go Brandon!” it became the unofficial chant of Trump supporters.

The Post issued a correction writing:

“Correction: A previous version of this article incorrectly said a crowd broke into a “Let’s go Brandon” chant during a Donald Trump Jr. speech in Georgia. The crowd broke into a “F*** Joe Biden!” chant at that speech in September. The error, which was inserted by an editor, has been corrected.”

On Sunday, Trump Jr. proclaimed it the “greatest correction in the history of journalism.”

That it probably is!
