White House Concerned Over Russian Involvement in Belarus and Ukraine

(PatriotWise.com)- As Russia stands poised to bite off another chunk of Ukraine and flexes its muscles in the border conflict between Poland and Belarus, the best the Biden White House can muster is “concern.”

Last Wednesday, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that Russian President Vladimir Putin would be making another “serious mistake” if he invaded Ukraine. The original “serious mistake” to which Blinken was alluding was Russia’s 2014 invasion of Crimea about which the Obama administration did nothing.

Thursday the White House warned the EU to prepare for an imminent Russian invasion of Ukraine. The CIA brief EU officials about Russia possibly trying to capture more territory in eastern Ukraine in much the way they annexed Crimea in 2014.

Meanwhile, during her trip to France, Vice President Kamala Harris was asked if Russia is heeding the US’ warnings about Ukraine. And after saying she couldn’t discuss classified information, the best Kamala could come up with is they remain concerned about what’s happening there.

While on his way to yet another weekend away from the White House on Friday, President Biden said Russian aggression is “of great concern.” But fear not America. The president assured reporters that he communicated that concern over Ukraine and Belarus to Russia.

The Biden administration was also concerned about the Taliban taking over Afghanistan. But at the end of the day, they did squat to stop it.

Meanwhile, Russia is conducting joint “exercises” with Belarus near the Poland/Belarusian border while Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stands aside and lets thousands of mostly Middle Eastern migrants make their way to Poland.

But at least the White House has expressed “concern.”

On Friday, Harris said that “we are very concerned” about the border clash between Belarus and Poland and are “closely paying attention to it.”

They’re so concerned.

Kamala then tossed out the nonsensical “the world is watching” platitude this administration made full use of with the Taliban. Harris called what “the Lukashenko regime” is doing “very troubling activity.”

So, she is both “concerned” and “troubled.”

Then she said, “the eyes of the world and its leaders are watching what is happening there.”

No doubt Vlad is shaking in his boots.
