(PatriotWise.com)- It seems like White House officials are on the payroll of former President Donald Trump lately, with a number of statements made by White House Communications Director Kate Bedingfield and Press Secretary Jen Psaki serving as fantastic evidence for his lawsuit against Big Tech.
On Tuesday, Bedingfield said during an interview with MSNBC that social media companies should be “held accountable” for spreading what the White House calls “misinformation.” It’s part of a wider campaign by the White House to intimidate and compel Big Tech companies to do what they say.
Last week, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki also said that the Biden administration was flagging posts and sending them to social media platforms with the expectation that users be silenced. Psaki even said that Big Tech should work together to ban users from all platforms if they receive a suspension on one platform for spreading so-called “disinformation.”
This is a central point of former President Donald Trump’s lawsuit against Big Tech, which notes that the government cannot compel private companies to act unconstitutionally. And this latest statement from Bedingfield proves that this is exactly what they are doing.
During the interview, Bedingfield noted that most deaths and hospitalizations affect unvaccinated Americans, and blamed social media companies for allowing people to spread information that doubts the efficacy or safety of the vaccine.
Remember when the Democrats hated the vaccine, and even suggested they wouldn’t take it because it was developed under the Trump administration? What happened to that kind of disinformation?
Bedingfield specifically targeted conservatives, too, claiming that right-wing news outlets were “creating irresponsible content” and “sharing misinformation” about the virus.
If the White House is so confident about instructing social media to censor people – and to act unconstitutionally – then could this be a sign that the Biden administration isn’t concerned about former President Trump’s Section 230 lawsuit heading to the Supreme Court?
Maybe President Biden plans to pack the court before the suit ever gets there…
