(PatriotWise.com) – After President Biden dismissed a question about visiting the southern border while in Arizona, the harpies from “The View” defended Biden for ignoring the crisis at the border.
When President Biden was leaving the White House to give a 16-minute speech at a computer chip manufacturing plant in Phoenix, Arizona last week, Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy asked the president why he was going to a border state without visiting the border.
Biden responded by telling Doocy, “Because there are more important things going on.”

Co-host Whoopi Goldberg kicked off the segment by playing the clip of Biden’s “more important things” remarks and argued that Republicans missed the point of his visit to Arizona, saying they should be happy that the president was there to promote jobs.
Co-host Sara Haines piped in, asking if Republicans think the economy matters. This prompted co-host Joy Behar to say Biden should have both talked up jobs and visited the border “just to shut them up.”
Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin agreed with Behar, explaining while Biden visiting the border would have just been a photo-op, it would have shown that he wasn’t being dismissive about an issue many Americans are concerned about.
Co-host Sunny Hostin declared that she didn’t need Joe Biden to visit the southern border, complaining that it would have been “theater.” Instead, she preferred Biden was working on more important things.
Behar disagreed, telling Hostin that optics can sometimes be as important as actually doing something.
Whoopi suggested that Biden could have gone to the border but added, “He can’t walk on all the water all the time.”
Sara Haines wrapped up the segment by suggesting that even if Joe Biden went to the border, his critics would have found something else to complain about.

Since Joe Biden took office, the number of illegals crossing the southern border has exploded, with an unprecedented 2.4 million illegals crossing into the United States during FY2022 alone.
