Wuhan Lab Was Warned Ahead Of Time Before COVID Investigation

(PatriotWise.com)- Ahead of a prospective US probe into the Wuhan Institute of Virology for its participation in the COVID-19 pandemic, James LeDuc, a lab director sponsored by Anthony Fauci, sent an early warning to Wuhan Institute of Virology researchers.

Previous news reports show a multi-year collaboration between the Texas-based lab and the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which included hosting exchange programs and training researchers at the lab’s Biosafety Level 4 (BSL) facility. Directors from the Wuhan facility and the Galveston National Laboratory acknowledged dealing with the world’s most hazardous diseases in 2018. The Wuhan Institute of Virology had the right to potentially order its American equivalent to delete or return the secret files, materials, and equipment without any backups.

Emails obtained by Judicial Watch through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request demonstrate a close contact between Texas lab director James LeDuc and top Wuhan Institute of Virology officials.
According to a report, former Commander of the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases David Franz emailed LeDuc on April 16th, 2020. He stated that he heard Senator Rubio was pushing for an investigation into the Wuhan lab regarding COVID-19’s origins. LeDuc immediately forwarded the email to the Wuhan Institute of Virology’s senior bat coronavirus researcher, nicknamed the “batwoman,” informing her of the impending probe. He requested a personal phone call with her.
Shi, the coronavirus researcher, answered the email the next day, claiming it wasn’t the appropriate moment to speak by phone. She also defended her lab against claims COVID-19 had leaked from it. She felt it was a shame that the accusation made scientific work difficult.
Investigative reporting says LeDuc replied quickly, citing his long history of collaboration with the Wuhan lab and attaching a draft summary of a report submitted to the leadership of the University of Texas system, and possibly to Congressional committees. He asked Shi to review everything carefully and make any necessary revisions, adding he wanted the statement to be as factual as possible. LeDuc also prepared Wuhan Institute of Virology personnel with a list of questions that may be asked during an examination into COVID-19’s origins.

Despite Fauci’s denials, there is an accumulation of evidence that the US National Institutes of Health had an infectious relationship with the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
