Trump Prediction Made By Top Historian

(PatriotWise.com) — A prominent historian predicts that Trump will re-enter the White House in 2024. Niall Ferguson, a senior fellow at Harvard and the Hoover Institution said Democrats believe that Joe Biden would beat Trump in any contest and that the former President’s legal battles will harm his chances, but the opposite is proving true. “The campaign of lawfare against Trump has already started to backfire,” he said.

Ferguson cited previous cases of politicians who won electoral battles after facing legal hurdles, including Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

Other factors include the economy. Ferguson says that Presidents who have overseen a recession are rarely re-elected. Finally, he added that the GOP historically selects its frontrunner to fight a Presidential election, and Trump has a commanding lead in this regard.

According to multiple polls, Donald Trump’s popularity rises after every difficulty he faces. When Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg indicted the former President on 34 felony counts, his popularity soared. Immediately after his New York court appearance, one poll showed he had jumped to a 30-point lead over his nearest rival, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

When CNN interviewed Trump on May 10th, polls conducted in the following days showed him with his most significant lead to date. The former President caused an outcry for remarks made during the interview, including a repeat of his claim that the 2020 election was stolen and calling E. Jean Carroll, who accused him of rape, a “whack job.”

Subsequent polls put Trump at 61% among Republicans, leaving Ron DeSantis trailing behind at just 18%. His popularity also increased in the days following January 6th, 2021, despite much of the media, and many Democrats, placing the blame squarely on Donald Trump.

Some commentators believe Trump’s plain speech and fearlessness make him attractive to voters. Psychologists who have analyzed his popularity say he speaks and thinks intuitively, and this connects with people more easily and is more relatable.
