Elon Musk To Relocate His Businesses To Texas Passing Of Pro-Trans SAFETY Act

(PatriotWise.com) — SpaceX CEO Elon Musk revealed last Tuesday that he would be moving the rocket company’s headquarters, along with the headquarters of his social media company X, to Texas, citing in part California’s new law that prohibits school districts from informing parents about their child’s gender identity.

The tech billionaire, who in 2021 relocated his electric vehicle company Tesla from California to Texas, described the SAFETY Act as “the final straw” and said that it, along with many other recent laws enacted in California, were attacks on “both families and companies.”

In a separate post on X, Musk said he warned California’s Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom that laws like the new SAFETY Act would send companies and families fleeing the state “to protect their children.”

SpaceX will be relocating its new headquarters to the company’s Texas city of Starbase. Musk also confirmed his plans to relocate the social media platform X to Austin, Texas, where Tesla is headquartered, saying he had grown tired of having to dodge violent drug addicts whenever he entered or exited X’s San Francisco headquarters.

Musk has been an outspoken critic of the transgender movement, in part because one of his sons recently came out as transgender and petitioned a California court to have his name legally changed to Vivian Wilson, arguing that he did not want to share Musk’s famous last name.

Musk, who revealed in December 2020 that he too was relocating to Texas with his electric vehicle company, transferred SpaceX’s incorporation to Texas from Delaware in February after a judge in Delaware rejected Tesla’s employee compensation plan.

The tech billionaire’s latest corporate moves come just days after he endorsed Republican Donald Trump in the 2024 election and revealed that he would donate $45 million each month to a Trump-aligned SuperPAC.

Musk posted a video clip of Trump raising his fist to the crowd following his near-assassination and said he “fully” endorsed him for president and wished him a “rapid recovery.”
